Day 4: the artist felt it her body (the day after the day after) and had to take care and find a friend to practice and dance with. There were none to hand, so she befriended herself – and her camera. She is sharing this a day late, which, considering the piece is on deferred action, is very appropriate.
Day 6: on the last day of her residency, the artist did everything again and again, bigger and brighter, louder and with a smile. She played, oh she played. Her last words were: one – last – rap. As a result, she levitated.I have such immense gratitude to Anita and Sara in The Workroom for their support and generosity. We are so lucky to have you. I have enjoyed this week so much. It has been productive, challenging, interesting and therapeutic, exactly the reason I work in the arts. Faith restored!
