After a week of connecting with the sangha beyond Glasgow, we return to Mysore practice at the Arlington Baths.Yoga (Mysore) | LIVE | Tuesdays, 07.15 – 09.00Thursdays, 07.15 – 09.00https://yogamovesglasgow.co.uk/timetable/Mysore is a form of assisted self-practice. Contrary to what you might think, complete beginners to yoga are very welcome. In fact, I think it is the best way to start your yoga journey! It is the most wonderful practice I know because it allows you to listen and respect what is going on with you in your body, mind, breath and life. It also allows you to become autonomous, responsible and restores the mind-body connection we are so in need of tending.♀️You can work at your pace and level🤲 You receive hands on adjustment and assistance (like the one in the picture, which I promise feels very good!)👥 You get individual help, tailored to what you need🌬️You understand your breath pattern and the fluidity of the sequencing, which helps you feel alive🧘🏻♀️You experience the mind and body connection on a deeper level🤸🏻♀️You spend the time you need in the postures, beginning to develop a personal practice you can take anywhere🪁You can enjoy the freedom that this approach offers🧶You benefit from the energy of the group, which intensifies the breath movement synchronicityIt helps you to maintain your focus and develop the mental and meditative aspects of the practiceYou can start at any time during the time slot so long as you finish by the end time.
I still miss you dearest Rosina, as I have done every day in these last, very strange three years. That beautiful face, that graceful (and always fast) saunter, that laughter. Whoever painted this picture, which you had in your old website, captured you perfectly. I miss that care-full gaze. You could touch with a look, you could heal with a finger. I don’t miss the wise words so much because I still hear them, the old ones – which you knew I needed to hear 300 times to understand –but also the new ones you keep giving me. When I get a piece of Rosina-wisdom delivered, I smile and think ‘there you are’. You are right here, in my heart ️
